Michelangelo saw possibility in a block of marble others had abandoned. Dr. Dick Versendaal believed practitioners should bring that same vision to the people in their care: the ability to see potential beyond symptoms, setbacks, and years of struggle.
That idea is at the heart of Michelangelo, an exclusive ten-chapter series available through the BioStacking Experience. Through his own words, stories, and teachings, discover a philosophy shaped by a lifetime of practice, observation, and a passion for helping people.

Dr. Dick Versendaal was a chiropractor, educator, and the developer of Contact Reflex Analysis®. A graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, he spent more than five decades developing and teaching his approach to wellness.
His work brought together his interests in chiropractic, nutrition, reflexes, and the relationships between the body’s systems. He helped inspire the creation of VerVita, while his daughter, Dawn, worked alongside him to organize and share his teachings.
Michelangelo preserves an opportunity to hear those ideas in his own voice, and discover the person behind the legacy.
Dawn is the daughter of Dr. Dick Versendaal and a CRA practitioner and teacher. For years she worked alongside her father, writing CRA books, developing educational materials, setting up seminars, and co-teaching. Together, they simplified CRA into a specific testing sequence of 75 major reflexes, now known as the 9-3-1 Sequence.
After his passing in 2014, Dawn took over his CRA seminars and continues to organize his teachings for future practitioners. She created the CRA training modules, wrote the Module 1 book, developed online CRA training, and teaches seminars across the country.

CRA practitioners use muscle-response testing, reflex contact points, and structured sequences within a framework for exploring wellness priorities. Learn how Dr. Versendaal’s philosophy informed this approach and why his teaching extended beyond the mechanics of muscle testing.
Explore the nutritional philosophy behind Dr. Versendaal’s involvement in VerVita supplements and essential oils, including his interest in supporting the body as an interconnected whole.
SRT is a proprietary technology promoted for supporting the body’s proposed energy field and response to stress. Learn why some CRA practitioners include it in their wellness approach and how it became part of the broader conversation around Dr. Versendaal’s work.
Meet practitioners who use and teach CRA, and hear their perspectives on its place in their work.

This is the first technique I have learned where I can incorporate all my other techniques into it. Dawn has such passion and really makes everything simple to understand.
Leslie Jacobi, DC
“
Dawn teaches the material in a simple manner that’s easy to learn and understand. She runs through the protocols over and over, explaining it in different ways.
Robin Niezgoda, DC
“
I love that the HEART is the center of CRA. I love the scoring system. I love the simplified number of nutritional and essential oil products.
Don Strasburger, DC
“
The heart seems tremendously undervalued in clinical practice and it’s nice to find a technique that actually addresses the heart and its significance.
