Founder & Chief Technologist, Avant Wellness Systems
Andy Hewitson is the founder and chief technologist of Avant Wellness Systems. He helped build Avant around a goal of making therapy laser technology more intuitive and accessible for healthcare practitioners. Avant’s handheld, cordless devices combine red and infrared laser wavelengths, and the company continues to develop its technology in response to practitioners’ needs.
Dr. Francisco Cidral, PhD
Scientific Consultant, Avant Wellness Systems
Dr. Francisco Cidral has spent more than 15 years as a professor and researcher in integrative practices. He holds a Master’s and PhD in Neuroscience and a postdoctorate in Health Sciences, and is a co-founder and associate professor at the Laboratory of Experimental Neuroscience in Brazil. His research focuses on photobiomodulation and integrative therapies. As Scientific Consultant for Avant, he joins this live to introduce the research program he is bringing to the Avant community on BioStacking.
